Bronze medal in BIG data Hackathon on Provider Quality conducted by Aetna
We are glad to announce that the HTC and ITMR team ( the research division of HTC) won the Bronze medal in a recent BIG data Hackathon on Provider Quality conducted by Aetna – one of the largest Health insurance companies in the US. The HTC and ITMR team, “Team Hyperion“, competed against over 500 contestants to bag this award. “Team Hyperion” competed in two categories – Analytics and User Experience. The solution involved innovative algorithms to normalize and rate Provider Quality customized for each member’s specific health needs. “Team Hyperion’s” solution was developed using R Studio, Java, HTML5 and JavaScript. The award is in recognition of the innovative approach and the creative solution for the Provider Quality Challenge.
